Did anyone else find their amart furniture to be lacking in quality?

    • expensive compared to Fantastic Furniture. Any idea why too?

My first home was furnished with half FF products, half Amart. The Amart products were far superior. Wouldn’t buy from FF again.

      • I found the quality a little better than Fantastic.
They both offer return and/or return money and keep the item if faulty.

    • Yea similar quality to fantastic furniture but cost 50-100% more, design is not as good as Freedom or Nick Scali

    • I have been looking to buy some furniture and found most stores have similar quality but charging an arm and a leg. Heck $600-$800 for a bedside table.

    • I've been very happy with my Amart bedroom package. High quality build and design IMO
I did get it will below RRP though

      • I bought a ,$2500 lounge suite from them and within a few years there was no support left in it. Then the leather started to go. I expected at least 5 years wear for that sort of money.

        • purchased 7000$ lounge only for the fabric to come damaged from Thailand/Malaysia. Waited 5 months for delivery.
placed a claim in and now waiting another 5 months on the replacement and no guarantee if the fabric be damaged as well… looks like no QC with their manufacturer…

        • I got this one in 2018, looking back at my tax invoice for $1500 (although I think there may have been some cashback as well)
          https://www.amartfurniture.com.au/chanelle-56432.html

I guess my perception would have been different if I spent $5,200 current sticker price…

Noteworthy that mine was simply wood, with construction much more solid than similar items I have got from Ikea or Fantastic. Maybe be extra careful around soft materials and leather.

    • Absolutely and the warranty and repairs are a joke wouldn't go near them again

  • I got the last 10% off. Bought a new mattress in store. Bought the gift cards while I was in there. Cash back came within 7 days

I also kept an eye on the prices. If an item went down in price, I called them up and asked them to price change. Hope that helps

Lesson from Deliveroo. Don't stock up unless you want to fully redeem it immediately.
I will stop buying gift cards from Shopback until Shopback provides a positive outcome for Deliveroo gift card disasters.

  • Does anyone know when this offer expires?
