Any recommended good female GP in South East Melbourne (close to Cheltenham) (Bulk Bill?) Specialised in women's health check up and family planning?

  • This seems pretty sexist.

I believe a lot of women prefer female doc to check their girly parts compared to make doc :D

I believe that anyone looking for any medical advice would be advised not to use this forum. And South East Melbourne is a huge area, it does from Toorak out to Cranbourne.

  • Better off to ask on a Community noticeboard on FB or a Buy/Swap/Sell group that is more localised to the area you need. As said above, SE Melb is very broad; I'm guessing you'll want somewhere close to home. I found my current GP after asking for recommendations on FB groups.

In any case, stay away from Casey Superclinic.

    • I think stay away from Casey is better advice.

      • you probably just offended a quarter of Melbourne.

You’re assuming the residents of Casey can read.

  • Our smallish town in outer SE Melbourne on the Mornington Peninsula has five med clinics and they all bulk bill and all have female doctors. Bit of doctor overkill there but it keeps the prices down. Some of them have extended hours of 16 hours by 365 days incl. Christmas day. However, if you lived here then you probably know all of this. As someone else said, the SE of Melbourne is a large area so why don't you specify an area a bit smaller than that.

    • I’m sorry, but The Mornington Peninsula is not Melbourne.

      • Why are you sorry?

Anyway, I thought the peninsula started at Frankston. Isn't Frankston part of Melbourne?

        • Hell no.

        • @Burnertoasty: So, it seems you hate Casey and Frankston. Where do you like?

        • @pjetson: I don’t hate anything buddy.
